In transfer printing, we decorate textiles with motifs that are produced beforehand. These transfers can be applied with a heat press.

STAHLS' transfers come in different types. Some are produced using the screen printing process, other transfers are produced using the digital printing process or as a hybrid of both methods.


Regardless of the manufacturing process, STAHLS' transfers are produced in Germany. You can rely on expert staff, modern technology and short delivery routes for your transfer orders.

Screen-printed transfers

Plastisol transfers (available with sublimation-blocker)

Universaltransfer Plus and InkTra®

These screen-printed transfers are ideal for designs with few colors. Both are excellent options for 1 or up to 5 color designs in high volumes. They are easy to apply to textiles such as cotton, cotton blend & nylon.

Inktra® has the added benefit of the transparent carrier which makes placement on the textile easier.

Universaltransfer Plus is perfect for solid color merchandise, promotional items and much more.

Inktra® is the best option for your bestsellers and high order quantities of logos in exact Pantone® colors, for example.

InkTra® Sublistop is produced in the same way as InkTra® transfers, but with an additional sublimation blocking layer.

This stop layer makes these transfers ideal for sublimation-dyed polyester, which is often used for functional clothing and sportswear.

If you are not sure, whether your textilie is sublimation-dyed and might stain your print, always make sure to do test runs.

UltraColor® PRO & UltraColor® are digital screen printing transfers produced in 4C offset printing. They are an excellent solution if you want multicolored transfers produced in photorealistic quality. You have almost unlimited color options at your disposal.

All the advantages of UltraColor®PRO and UltraColor® transfers with an additional sublimation stop layer make UltraColor®PRO Sublistop and UltraColor® Sublistop. With these transfers, you can print multi-colored and photorealistic designs even on sublimation-dyed textiles. Thanks to the high opacity due to white backing, even sports jerseys can be decorated.

Why use a sublimation stop layer?
Sportswear is often made of polyester that is sublimation-dyed. When applying transfers, the textile is exposed to heat, which can cause color to run from the textile into the transfer. This is known as color migration. With sublistop transfers, this becomes impossible!
